Sudan’s Burhan discusses stability with African intelligence delegation

Friday, July 17, 2026- Sudan’s military leader General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan has held talks with an African intelligence delegation focused on security, stability, and the ongoing crisis in the country.

The discussions come as Sudan continues to face political uncertainty and armed conflict, with regional leaders seeking ways to improve coordination and support efforts aimed at restoring order.

The meeting focused on strengthening intelligence cooperation, addressing security threats, and finding practical solutions to challenges affecting Sudan’s stability.

Officials said the engagement reflects growing regional efforts to manage the conflict and prevent further instability from spreading across neighboring countries.

As fighting and humanitarian concerns remain major issues, international and African partners are increasing pressure for dialogue and lasting solutions.

The latest talks highlight the urgent need for coordinated action to protect civilians, support recovery efforts, and create conditions for a more secure future in Sudan.
