Tuesday, September 29, 2026 - Five British men arrested near RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire have been released on police bail as counter-terrorism investigators continue examining a suspected plot involving the U.S.-used airbase.
The men, all British nationals in their 20s and from London, were arrested early Sunday after three vans were reported near the base. They were initially detained over suspected explosives offences and later arrested on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act.
