Sunday, September 27, 2026 - Peter Andre has opened up about the impact his wife, Emily, has had on his life, saying she has helped him become a calmer and more relaxed person.
The 53-year-old singer has been married to Emily MacDonagh, 37, for 11 years, and the couple say serious arguments are rare despite raising three children together. Peter credits Emily with being a calming influence, particularly in the way he now approaches fatherhood.
The couple have admitted that while they sometimes bicker over everyday issues, they do not raise their voices at each other. Emily explained that they prefer to have calm conversations and resolve disagreements rather than allowing arguments to escalate.
Peter also reflected on how much his parenting style has changed, saying he is now much softer with his youngest daughter, Arabella, compared with how strict he was with his older children, Junior and Princess.
Peter and Emily are now preparing to give fans a closer look at their family life through their new podcast, At Home With The Andres, which launches on September 30.
Their relationship comes after Peter’s highly publicised marriage to Katie Price ended in 2009, with both sides recently agreeing to move forward and focus on a more positive approach to co-parenting. Peter’s comments about Emily mark a clear focus on the calmer family life he says he has built in his second marriage.
