IRGC says it targeted Israel’s Nevatim and Tel Nof bases

Monday, June 8, 2026- The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it has carried out a fresh missile operation targeting Israel’s Nevatim and Tel Nof airbases, escalating the ongoing cycle of strikes between the two sides.

In a statement reported by Iranian state-linked media and regional outlets, the IRGC said the attack was launched in response to what it described as Israeli strikes on radar installations inside Iran.

The group said its missiles were directed at the Nevatim Airbase in southern Israel and Tel Nof Airbase in central Israel, both key facilities for the Israeli Air Force that host fighter jets, transport aircraft, and operational units.

The Israeli military has not yet issued a detailed public assessment of the claim, but the announcement comes amid a period of heightened regional tension marked by repeated missile exchanges and airstrikes across Israel, Iran, Lebanon, and Yemen.

The situation remains fluid, with both sides continuing to report interceptions, retaliatory strikes, and limited confirmations of damage as the conflict expands across multiple fronts.
